World Water Day is a day set aside to focus on the importance of fresh, pure water for all, and to advocate for the sustainable management of natural fresh water resources world-wide.

With a different theme and focus annually, this year’s theme is “Water and Wastewater”, which provides an important opportunity to highlight the symbiosis between water and wastewater in the quest for sustainable development.
